Ideally located between Via Roma and Piazza del Duomo, right in the very heart of Florence amidst world famous works of art and fashionable shops, the Bed and Breakfast Residenza Giotto is set on the fourth floor of a period building dating back to the 19th century.

The property is indeed a perfect base from which to explore Florence and its historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Morover, the B&B is just within easy reach of Santa Maria Novella railway station, Fortezza da Basso exhibition centre and Palazzo dei Congressi international conference centre.

The Bed and Breakfast offers six comfortable bedrooms, a superb location, panoramic views over Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and Giotto's bell tower and above all a homely atmosphere coupled with friendly and attentive service.

From the motorway exit: approximately 7 km.

By car
From the A1 (E45) motorway, exit at Firenze-Certosa and follow signs for Florence city centre. Drive past Galluzzo and go straight ahead. After about 1.5 km, at the first set of traffic lights turn right, drive past the second one and turn left at the third one. Follow the tree-lined street up to Porta Romana square. Proceed through the arch and then straight ahead for about 1 km. Cross the bridge and go straight ahead. After the set of traffic lights proceed for about 200 metres, then turn right, cross the road and right before Piazza del Duomo turn right onto Via Roma.

Please note that the property is located is located in the Zona a Traffico Limitato (ZTL) or central area of the city closed to unauthorized traffic. Guests are therefore requested to contact the reception and give their car's number in order to be granted the necessary permit.
