レセプション The Paradise Lifestyle Hotel, a subsidiary of Athens' Saint George Lycabettus, is a luxurious historic property located in Chora on the beautiful island of Andros - the greenest island of the Cyclades.

Operating since the early 1900s, the structure has been recently refurbished and literally transformed into a hotel of high aesthetics by the famous interior designer Angelos Angelopoulo. It is now member of the international Charming Hotels chain and Independent Luxury Hotels.

The hotel's elegant balconies look out onto some of the most magnificent sceneries in Greece, with a spectacular view of tiny villages nestling among the surrounding hills. Set in lovely garden grounds enriched by age-old olive trees, every amenity you require for a memorable holiday is within easy reach.

The property is open from March to October.

Andros Island remains largely unspoilt by mass tourism and is dotted with Byzantine churches, monasteries and pretty villages which offer an unrivalled insight into the Greek way of life.

A short walk from the hotel brings you to splendid beaches and to all the amenities of Chora, while the hotel mini bus is available for trips further afield. Taverns, cafes and bars are all easily accessible from the town's main street, as are the island's famous museums and the Gallery of Modern Art.

Right next to the hotel gardens, you can visit the Old Ice Factory Mantzavelaki, now renovated and open to the public as Museum of Folk and Christian Art, as well as conference and exhibition hall.

ツインベッドルーム Each of the Paradise Hotel's bedrooms has a distinct thematic decoration from the nature of Andros and different colour-schemes ranging from all-white to vivid orange.

The colours of the islands are echoed by the refined interiors and by the garden furniture on each of the private balconies, which allow impressive views of the picturesque village or the sea.

In addition, the rooms feature every modern comfort, from remote control satellite TV, direct dial telephone, en suite private bathroom, hairdryer, writing desk and mini bar, to individually controlled air conditioning and heating units.

The needs of families have also been looked after, with a number of specially designed family accommodations with separate rooms for children. Baby cots are provided upon request and free of charge.

アクセス

By boat
You can reach Gavrio, the main port of the island, by boat from Rafina. The trip takes 2 hours (1 hour by a fast ship). The service is frequent and intensifies during the summer season. Rafina is easily reachable by KTEL bus service from Pedio Areos, Athens.
Andros is also connected directly with Tinos and Mykonos (daily), with Syros (twice a week) and with the rest of the Cycladic Islands.
Transport within the island is carried out by KTEL bus service with frequent service between the villages.
