The Athens Gate hotel enjoys an ideal location facing the street connecting Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus, in the center of the commercial and tourist area of Athens, right next to the Acropolis and the old Plaka district, as well as near the Zappeion Exhibition and Congress Hall.

Athens Gate hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Syntagma square and is easy to reach from both, Athens airport and Pireus port. This completely renovated hotel reopened in 2007, and offers friendly service and modern comfort, providing an ideal starting point for leisure and business travelers alike.

From the hotel's roof garden hosting a bar and restaurant, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Acropolis, the Olympian Zeus Temple and the Lycabettus hill.

By car
From the Elefhterios Venizelos airport:
From the Attiki Odos motorway heading towards Elefsina, take exit number 11 Kiffisias and proceed towards Athens. Continue along Kiffisias avenue, which becomes Vassilisis Sofias avenue, then Vassileos Constadinou avenue. Make a right into Vassilikos Olgas avenue, then turn left into Singrou avenue, where the hotel is located.

By train
The Larissis central train station is about 5 km away from the hotel. A frequent bus service and underground provide easy connection with the property. The underground stops in Syntagma square, only 500 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
The Eleftherios Venizelos Athens international airport is approximately 30 km away from the property. The airport is well connected to the city centre by an express bus service and an underground line, which stops in Syntagma square only 500 metres away from the hotel.

By boat
The port of Piraeus is located about 15 km from the property. From the port, the easiest way to reach the hotel is by taxi. It will take about 15 minutes. Taxis are easily found at the end of the wharf.
