By train
From Nice-ville main train station you can reach the hotel walking. Turn right upon exiting the station and you will see the Post Office (big red brick building). Right in front the Post Office there is rue Gounod going down to the seaside. Take this street and walk for around 0.2 miles until you will see the hotel on your right.

By airplane
Coming out of Terminal 1 you will see on the left hand side (or right if you come out of Terminal 2) a yellow bus marked Nice direct 98. Ticket is about €4,00 per person; ask for the Meyerbeer stop which is just after the Negresco Hotel, on the sea promenade. When you get off the bus, with the sea on your back, you will see the rue Meyerbeer on your left: walk up this street for about 0.2 miles and you will see Hotel Gounod.
