Thanks to its geographical location, Villa La Cappella assures a very
pleasant and relaxing holiday in a familiar atmosphere, in contact with nature, in the centre of incomparable historical and artistic itineraries.

Villa La Cappella dates back to the XII century. It stands on the historic Aliano hill, surrounded by a 7.000 square meter park filled with ancient cypress trees. You reach it by taking a panoramic country road, Via Lucardese, known as "The Wine Road". It wanders among the hills and vineyards from Montespertoli and brings you to the medieval towns of Certaldo and San Gimignano.

In the 18th century a small chapel was built in the middle of the fortified Villa in Aliano park so, as was customary at that time, the family would have a suitable resting place for their deceased. In the course of the time, a larger house replaced the small chapel to provide living quarters for the overseer of the estate.
In 1821, the property was enlarged to the size seen today. All during the 20th century it was home to three different farm families. The adjacent building has served as a country school for nearly 100 years.

The Tinalli family purchased the property and, starting in 1988, have personally been renovating the buildings and grounds with passion and love. The result is La Capella Hotel and residence where attention to detail has become the guiding principle. That hallmark is revealed throughout-in the care of its guests, in the authentic elegance of its furnishings, in the choice of colours and materials that distinguish its incomparable interior and exterior décor.

スイートルーム Our suites are located on the first and second floor of the Villa. They have a beautiful view. They are large, with a reading-area and romantically furnished, equipped with bathrobe, make-up mirror, hairdryier, DVD player, safe and mini-bar.

The Chapel building, located next to the Villa is an historical restored church, on the ground floor of it, there are 3 "classic" double rooms. They are comfortable, lovely furnished and have a beautiful ceiling painted with clouds, angels and birds which gives to the rooms a romantic atmosphere.
They're equipped with hair dryer, make-up mirror, safe and mini-bar.

Apartment
La Cappella Hotel includes The Villa with six apartments.
An elevator to the first and second floors brings you to the six apartments. Each accommodation has its own heating controls, telephone, satellite TV and a safe for valuables.
The elegant décor and atmosphere of each apartment is unique to it.

アクセス

By car
From North:
When coming from A1 Bologna to Florence leave the motorway at Firenze Scandicci and take the free motorway S.G.C. FI-PI-LI to Livorno-Pisa. Leave it at La Ginestra-Montespertoli. Keep on following the road until Montespertoli and just before the town, please turn left towards "Lucardo-Siena", keep always the left without entering the town and leave it behind yourselves. After a couple of kilometres, the road goes through a large cypress park; do the curve and on your left hand side you will see our gate.

From South:
When coming from A1 Rome to Florence, leave the motorway at Firenze Certosa and take the free motorway to Siena. Leave it at San Casciano-Montespertoli. Once you have reached the town of San Casciano, you will find on your right hand the direction to Certaldo-San Pancrazio. After San Pancrazio follow the road to Certaldo and downhill keep the road on your left passing through Fornacette (please do not follow the first sign to Montespertoli). After Fornacette, by the end of the hill, on your right you will find the second indication for Montespertoli. Take it and after two kilometers you will find us on your right side.

By train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station:
Please exit from the right side and take the SITA bus (Florence-Montespertoli). You can catch the bus every hour.
Or:
From Florence train station:
Please follow the direction to Siena. Please take the free motorway to Siena and leave it at BARGINO exit.
Please follow the direction to San Pancrazio/Montespertoli/Certaldo.
After San Pancrazio follow the road to Certaldo and downhill keep the road on your left passing through Fornacette (please do not follow the first sign to Montespertoli). After Fornacette, by the end of the hill, on your right you will find the second indication for Montespertoli. Take it and after two kilometres you will find us on your right side.

From Florence Santa Maria Novella:
Please take the train to Empoli.
When arrived in Empoli train station, you can catch the bus to Montespertoli or we can come to pick you up.

By airplane
From Pisa Airport:
When coming from Pisa, take the free motorway S.G.C. FI-PI-LI to Florence and leave it at La Ginestra-Montespertoli.
